Camping on the Thompson River

This last weekend we decided to camp Saturday night in the Thompson Falls area. We didn't have a specific campground in mind, so we drove on some logging roads, and found a great little campsite on the side of the road. We had it all to ourselves, and there was a fire ring already made! It was so quiet. Two different times, a bald eagle traveled along the river fishing; and an osprey was also hanging around. The kids had a great time playing around in the dirt and fishing with daddy. Tyler unfortunately did not catch any fish, but he did try a couple times.
All in all a great camping trip; maybe even the best of the season. But we won't tell you exactly where it is :)
