Out for a bit
We (the kids and I) are headed on an almost three week long vacation to Oregon! It will be fun, and I hope I get to see everyone that we would like to see... Wish us luck, and we will be back with lots of pictures!

Ayla's Princess Birthday Party
Ayla had a great 3rd birthday (I think!)
Wake up and get birthday crownWaiting for the kids to arriveShe said she wanted a princess party, so I made some wands for each kiddo, each kid could make a crown, we played "pin the crown on the princess" (Princess is from book Princess and the Pea ) and had a flamingo pinata (I know, doesn't go with princess).
Waiting for the cake

This Moment
{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments for all to find and see. ~Amanda Soule

Kellen's 6 months old!
(Oh yeah, and I am 30!) I can't believe my sweet boy is 6 months old. Oh, how I love him. This is him in my favorite chair at 6 months:
And... this is him there at 4 months:
I plan to spend my day at home, doing the things 30 year olds do. Ayla and I might go get an ice cream cone (if she's nice to me), we are getting family pictures done by the talented Alicia Brown, and Tyler is making me steak and peanut butter cheesecake!!!

Some random goodness
Here are some pictures from our last week. We did a little playing in the yard while it was sunny, a little rockclimbing with friends when it wasn't, and some sleeping, and even some sewing. Colton started preschool! Prepping for upcoming birthdays and trips that are sneaking up on us. Enjoy!

Truthful Tuesday (late) and WIP
Truthful :: mess on the kitchen table. But, seriously led to a very productive day! (check out WIP next!)
WIP :: I finished SO much yesterday! A birthday crown and name banner for a bday girl in less than 2 weeks! A O + S shirt for said girl; a stack of diapers (in exchange for pictures, I love bartering!); 2 diaper wraps for Kellen; a pillow for my 17 (?) year old niece... hope I can get the matching quilt done before xmas!
Today (wednesday) I spent the day rearranging and cleaning the house... something I opted not to do yesterday!
AND... here is Kellen getting his first taste of solids! Sweet Potatoes (same as Ayla)So cute!
