I have never used any sort of attachment with my Kitchenaid, and today I used a slicer/shredder that I borrowed from Jill. AND I love it! It really helped reducing the huge pile of zucchini I had adding up by the day! I think I shredded about 8-10 pretty big sized zucchinis and came out with about 22 cups of shredded stuff! We made two loaves of zucchini bread and shared it with a friend that dropped by just in time! Thanks Jill! I am putting it on my wishlist, for the simple fact that unfortuneately I won't always be your neighbor!

Or you could come visit, and bring it with you!! I really hope to go to Italy... friends might come out of the woodwork!
I did this once, even justified the purchase of a food processor for it, but the shredded zucchini just sat in our freezer for 2 years until we moved. I hope you're zucchini have a better fate than mine. Jennie
My mom always said, "don't plant zucchini unless you have lots of friends" lol or in your case a chopper gadget thingy.
